At Abbott Service Company, we fabricate custom wire forms of any size, shape, and complexity. Our facility is equipped with all the machinery needed to create close tolerance springs and other types of wire forms. We produce compression, extension, flat, torsion, and spiral power springs from wire with diameter as small as 0.010″ and up. Using powerful software tools, we can specify simple and compound bend sequences to produce items like spring clips, hooks, wire mesh, terminals, and other specialty shapes for an almost limitless number of applications.
Materials of construction include all types of flat or rounded metal wire, including steel, high strength alloys, music wire, bronze, exotics, and more. We create flattened, pierced, eared, or notched configurations with spherical, conical, pointed, or chamfered ends. We also offer individual tube parts as well as complete tube assemblies.
As a full-service manufacturer, we offer deburring and grit blasting to remove surface contaminants and improve the appearance of your wire form. We also offer numerous other finishing options. In addition to heat-treating and stress relieving, we can paint, powder coat, plate, or polish your wire forms to achieve the desired appearance and performance properties.
Our production operations are very flexible and adhere to many industry standards. We can manage small orders as well as those that involve millions of pieces on an ongoing basis. Family owned and operated, we operate with a high level of integrity and commitment to our customers, as our reputation rests on the quality of every wire formed product we ship.
